“ Third stop on our Ousburne food and drink tour. Picture shows (ticked) the samples provided. Food was delicious and fresh, lots of flavours and accompanied with a house Chardonnay. ”
“ A great experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant on a Saturday night was lovely. Busy but without being too loud. We were delighted to see such an interesting menu right through from quirky cocktails to some really splendid food. The quality of the cooking and the freshness of the ingredients really was fantastic. 6 of us ate here, a mixture of first timers and returning guests. One of the best meals I have had in some time. Will definitely be back. ”
“ Brunch here was gorgeous! I had the green harissa fried eggs on sourdough and would highly recommend. ”
“ Came here with my parents to celebrate my graduation and had the nicest time! The food and drinks were both interesting and delicious, my favourites were the tempura cauliflower starter and the clarified Bloody Mary which was completly clear in colour! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a great quality while pretty casual dinner. ”
“ Flawless on every visit for dinner so we thought we’d try breakfast today, absolute perfection once again. Everyone in our company thoroughly enjoyed. My one and only criticism is lack of a really good draft beer which would be the icing on the cake. Thanks as always guys, love what you have made here! ”
“ I've been before for dinner and came back for lunch. The menu is small plates. They recommend 2 or 3 dishes per person. Everything uses fresh and local ingredients and felt pretty healthy if that's what you're after in the new year. - favourite dishes were pastrami on foccacia, brussel sprouts, oyster mushrooms and the chalk trout - could take or leave the poached chicken salad, goat pie and smoked potatoes - the butter with the bread was rock solid which was a bit disappointing ”
“ My wife and I had a wonderful meal here. Our stand out dish was in fact the chicken liver pate. But everything was lovely. From the service to the food and drinks, there was nothing to complain about. It was also a refreshing menu to come across. ”
“ Top class eatery. We went for lunch and had two small plates each plus some drinks (squashed spice negroni was excellent). Expensive but genuinely worth every penny. An elevated experience, must go back for the dinner menu. ”
